About Honey
Honey is a 3-year-old Rottweiler/Lab mix who weighs about 58 lbs and carries a gentle, sensitive spirit. She tends to be shy and a bit skittish at first, but if you offer her patience and a quiet, calm environment, she’ll eventually open up and reveal her friendly, affectionate nature. Honey walks well on leash—though when she's nervous, she’ll stick close to your side, even underfoot, seeking reassurance. She’s easily startled by loud noises and busy environments, so she’d thrive in a peaceful suburban or rural setting away from the bustle. Honey does well with other dogs and could really benefit from a confident canine buddy in her new home to help show her the world isn’t so scary. She’s gentle, loves treats, and is food-motivated, making her easier to train and build up her confidence. Honey is looking for a patient adopter who can offer her safety, encouragement, and time to blossom. She hasn’t yet been tested with cats or children. Vaccinations are current and she is spayed, microchipped, and ready to meet someone who will help her thrive. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
