About Bitzie

Bitzie is fostered in Pleasonton, Kansas. This sweet little girl is a breeder release from the Amish. She is 5 years old and currently weighs just under 20 lbs. She is a female black tri mini Australian Shepherd female. Bitzis is ready to find her forever home. Because of her former life, she is a little bit under socialized, but she is SUPER sweet and loves attention. She is potty trained and crate trained. Since coming into her foster home, Bitzie has slowly been exposed to all kinds of new sounds, new smells, new environments, etc. The KEY WORD for this girl is slow. She needs a very patient adopter who will allow her time to decompress and begin to understand a new routine, yet slowly expose her to new situations so she can learn. Bitzie thrives on attention and follows her foster mom all over the house. She does get scared with loud noises and will most definitely require a very secure physical fence. She would also do best with an adopter who has another social dog that she can take some cues from. Bitzie has done well with other dogs of all sizes. She has not been exposed to cats or kids. We recommend a home with children over 12 years of age, as they may scare her. Her ideal home would be one that is less busy and home more often than not. Bitzies must haves are: patient adopter who will continue the socialization of new sounds, new environments, new smells, etc anther outgoing pup in the home to take some cues from secure physically fenced yard Bitzie is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations and receiving monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworms. She does require a committed adopter who is willing to devote 1 - 2 hours of mental and physical stimulation per day. NOTE: All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in. Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application. We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family.
