About Mr. Meowgi
Mr. Meow is an endlessly engaging, high-energy cat who thrives on interaction and connection with his people. If you want a cat who plays hard, talks louder, and has a knack for stealing the spotlight, this character will keep your home lively. Rescued from the streets of Kuwait, he bounced back from a rough start and arrived in the U.S. with his strong spirit intact. Mr. Meow will announce his presence with an impressive meow—sometimes deep and dramatic, sometimes light and operatic. He loves theatrical leaps after wand toys and will chase a tossed ball like an athlete. Daily enrichment and rotating play options will keep him happy and balanced. His foster has even started him on a cat wheel, and he's eager to learn tricks for treats. Mr. Meow gets along well with other young, playful cats, and could mesh with an energetic, cat-savvy dog given careful introductions. He needs adopters who understand feline body language and boundaries, since he’ll let you know—loudly—when he's reached his stimulation limit, though he’s more dramatic than dangerous. In a consistent, stimulating environment, his big feelings tend to mellow. At two and a half years old, he's neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and fully recovered from past FIP treatment (interested adopters should familiarize themselves with FIP, though reinfection is rare). Mr. Meow’s ready for a home that will give him plenty to do, and plenty of love. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
