Mandrake is a sweet, unique boy who, like his namesake, is looking to put down roots in a forever home! He continues to blossom and come out of his shell in foster care, going from being shy and skittish to welcoming pets and scratches with a little time and patience. He has special "crinkly" ears that are likely the result of previous ear trauma, but his hearing is not impacted. Mandrake loves head and cheek scratches, and will bump your hand with his head to signal he wants more. Besides scratches, he goes crazy for Churu treats, feather toys, wet food, and long naps in the window. Mandrake has not directly met another cat while in foster but we suspect he may do ok with slow and proper introductions. What Mandrake would really love though is a quiet home with a patient, gentle family to call his own. Mandrake is estimated to be a little over 2.5 years old. He is neutered, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
