About Otis Big Hunk
Otis Big Hunk is ready for a place to call his own. At about six years old, heās a large, mixed-breed dogāthose eyes hint at some German Shepherd and Rottweiler, but no one is really sure. What is certain: Otis loves to chase a ball and picks up new things quickly. Sit, stay, shakeāyou name it, he knows it. Meeting new people gets him pretty excited, and although he hasnāt spent much time around other dogs, heās done just fine with the ones heās met so far. Otis spent his early years chained outside and ignored. Later, a caring woman stepped in, but her own health struggles made it impossible to keep up with him. Heād thrive with someone who has time to toss him a ball and enjoy the goofy, affectionate side he shows off once he trusts you. Heās used to having a big backyard to run around in and hasnāt had much leash practice, so heāll need some patience there. Kids are an unknown for him, but heās spent over two years waiting for a fresh start. If youāre looking for a smart, loving dog whoās overdue for a good life, Otis could be a perfect fit. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
