About Daisy In Ky

Daisy – A gentle beauty with a heart of gold, and has the kind of expressive eyes that stop you in your tracks. She is graceful, regal, and every bit as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. While Daisy’s early life wasn’t easy—she was surrendered after living outside on a chain—she has blossomed into a truly special companion who has learned the best place to be is right where her people are. She happily squeezes in close for affection, soaking up chin scratches and kind words like sunshine. Her gentle nature suggests she would do well with children. She loves all aspects of a grooming session and eagerly offers her paw once you show her a treat—she learned “sit” in no time at all! She is the kind of dog who follows you around just to be near you, making her a wonderful companion for someone who wants a loyal shadow and a soft presence in their day. Daisy is dog-friendly and cat-curious enjoying meeting other dogs, greeting them with a happy tail wag. Her idea of playing is an occasional short game of chase and could live happily as an only dog, or with another laid-back canine sibling and dog-savvy felines who are comfortable sharing space with a curious but kind dog. She does guard her food from other dogs which can be managed with separate feeding places. Daisy walks beautifully on a leash, making her ideal for neighborhood strolls or peaceful hikes. She rides happily in the car, settles quietly in a crate when asked, and is respectful of fencing—though she is smart enough to notice if a gate isn’t secure! A 5-foot fenced yard is a must as Daisy prefers exploring along the fence line, calmly observing the world around her. Her ideal home is one filled with patience, guidance, and plenty of time for love and connection. Daisy is a sweet, gentle soul ready to leave her past behind and step into a future full of love. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will walk beside you, lean in close for affection, and reward you with quiet loyalty, Daisy may be your gal. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
