Laney is a delightful young Pyr and Border Collie mix with the sweetest personality and a whole lot of love to give! This clever little "Pocket Pyr" came into foster care alongside her brother Luke and sister Libby, and the trio has been absolutely thriving! Don't let the "Pyr" in her name fool you - Laney is a more petite pup who will top out around 60 pounds, with a short, soft coat. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, and endlessly curious companion, Laney just might be your perfect match! Laney is exceptionally intelligent and picks up new things remarkably quickly. She's already leash trained (check out her adorable video!), crate trained, and is happily working on her basics like “sit.” A true eager-to-please girl, Laney settles beautifully in her crate during nap times and learns household routines in no time. Socially, Laney is an absolute gem! She loves everyone she meets - new people, familiar faces, you name it - and she greets them all with pure joy. She does well with large dogs at home (she currently lives happily with one large male and one large female), and when she’s out on walks, she wants to play with every single pup she meets. She's also perfectly happy both indoors and out - whether she's romping in the yard with her littermates or snuggled up inside soaking in all the pets and attention she can get! She loves belly scratches, ear rubs, and has the most adorable habit of walking between your legs just to make sure she gets properly loved on. Peanut butter is her all-time favorite treat, and she'll do just about anything for a good snuggle session. Fun, loving, sweet, curious, and ready for adventure - Laney is truly the whole package!
