People-oriented ● How do they handle new situations? He likes to inspect the area thoroughly first before he gets acclimated to a new setting. Very friendly with people, he likes to lick and cuddle. ● How are they with other dogs? He interacts and is friendly, plays a little bit but doesn't interact for too long. ● Cats or other animals (if known)? N/A 🎓 Training & Manners ● Potty trained? Has accidents when he is excited but does know to go outside. ● Crate trained? He does fine in the crate ● Leash skills: Works well with leash but is definitely a puller. ● Commands known (if any): He is deaf but if you do a hand movement he will sit. 🌞 Daily Life ● Typical day with you: He likes to wake up around 7:30 AM, go for a walk, and then spend some time playing on the roof. If we’re home working, he’s happiest just sitting on the couch and snuggling. ● Exercise needs: He likes to run around on the roof and jumps and plays. ● Favorite activities or toys: Not sure yet. 🌱 Growth Areas ● Anything they’re still working on? Getting used to walking by our side and not yanking. ● What helps them succeed? Someone who wants to take a dog to the park and also snuggle. 💙 Foster Note What do you love most about them? - He’s an incredibly sweet, affectionate dog who makes a wonderful companion. He loves to cuddle and will happily follow you around the house, so he’s perfect if you’re looking for a loyal little shadow. He has a great balance of energy. He enjoys playing and running, but also knows when it’s time to relax and be calm. He is deaf, but can still pick up on louder sounds and movement, and he adapts really well. One of his cutest quirks is how closely he likes to stay by your side. He just always wants to be near his person.
