Hi... I'm Dillon. I'm five years old, very small, very sweet, and—if I'm honest-still trying to make sense of this whole "normal life" thing. I came from a home in Georgia where there were thirty-five Chihuahuas. Yep. Thirty-five. Every day was basically a tiny dog version of "The Hunger Games." If you're wondering why I'm on the skinny side.. well, imagine battling 34 siblings for dinner. I did my best. When that home was raided, we were all taken somewhere safe, and eventually I caught a ride up to NYC. Now I'm here, looking for a calm, loving place to finally relax. I adore people-like, seriously adore them. I melt for attention, cuddles, and gentle voices. But... the leash? What is that thing? Why do humans tug on it? Why does it follow me everywhere?? I'm learning, but it's confusing. I probably never wore one before, so go slow with me, okay? The vet here says I'm in decent shape now-just skinny with grade 2 dental disease, which means l'Il most likely need a dental cleaning sometime soon (they say those can be pricey, so be prepared!). Some brushing and chewing might help a bit in the meantime. What I really want is a home where I can feel safe, loved, and never have to compete with three dozen Chihuahuas ever again. His adoption fee is $650.00, plus $8.50 for the dog license if you are a resident of NYC. Dillon will also get one free exam with one of our participating veterinarians within 30 days of his adoption.
