With big green eyes and an adorable tongue that never goes in his mouth, he’s ready to take on the world! He’s the perfect little guy to binge movies with on the couch, or spend the afternoon learning new tricks! He’s a fast learner and can “sit”, lay “down” and give “paw”, and is working on new tricks every day! He is adjusting to apartment life, learning crate training and potty training outside! He is happy to live with dogs and/or cats and loves a human play partner! He enjoys his toys and chewing on a busy bone or Kong. After dinner and a walk he will gladly snooze on the couch or sleep through the night in his crate with a comfy blanket. He’s always happy to greet you in the morning and ready to take on the day. He’s still young and getting used to all the new things the world has to offer, while he’s a little anxious on walks he will normally stick beside you and casually stroll. He communicates when he’s ready to go home and likes to be carried down the stairs. Lafayette will thrive with a patient person to cuddle up with and learn all about life with! He is very smart, adaptable, and has a chipper, silly personality that always lights up a room! *Lafayette previously tested positive for heartworms and was treated in Texas, he is on a monthly preventative medication now* *He is currently taking gabapentin for anxiety* INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
