I'll likely want to head outside first and may not pay much attention to you right away, but that doesn't mean I don't care - I just need time to decompress and learn that I can relax. A patient, understanding home that respects my boundaries will help me slowly build confidence and trust. Once I feel secure, my gentle nature will begin to shine through, and I'll start forming the meaningful bond I've been waiting for.
