Hi, I'm Nina, a 48-pound Terrier mix with a gentle heart and a playful side that shines once I feel safe. I can be a little cautious when meeting new people and I do spook easily, so I really appreciate slow, calm introductions that let me warm up at my own pace. I might not be the first one to walk up and ask for attention, but once I'm comfortable, I truly enjoy affection and being near my people. Squeaky toys are one of my favorite things - I love tugging and playing with them, and they help bring out my confidence and silly side. Being outside is where I feel happiest. I'm always exploring, sniffing, and taking in the world around me. I get especially spunky when I'm playing with Jazzy - she helps me relax and show off my fun personality. When I don't have enough to do, I can get a little anxious, so I'll need plenty of activities, enrichment, and adventures to keep my mind busy. With patience, love, and a home that understands my sensitive nature, I'll be the sweetest, most loyal companion you could ask for. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
