Hi! I'm Cheech, a 55-pound Terrier mix and quite possibly the sweetest boy you'll ever meet. I might be a tiny bit hesitant when I first meet someone new, but give me a proper introduction and I warm up fast - especially if snacks are involved! I know my name and I'm a pretty smart guy who loves showing off my tricks for a tasty reward. Tennis balls are exciting, even if I sometimes get distracted halfway through the chase, and I absolutely love being outside exploring every smell and interesting thing I can find. I'm curious about everything... yes, even the trash can if it smells intriguing enough. I'm a big foodie and a big cuddle bug all wrapped into one, so I'd thrive in an active, adventurous home that also sets aside time just to scratch and love on me. I adore affection and will happily soak it up whenever you're offering. I do have a funny little habit of sitting nearby and staring very intently when you're eating - I just like to make sure you remember I exist! With plenty of activity, attention, and a bit of guidance, I'll be your loyal, affectionate sidekick who keeps life entertaining and full of love. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
