Meet Susie Susie is a cute hound mix. She is about 10-11 months old and 43 pounds, and we don't expect her to grow much bigger. Sadly, Susie spent the last four months of her life in an overcrowded shelter, so she has been surrounded by noise and chaos instead of the comfort of a home. Despite her rough start, Susie is an incredibly loving and grateful girl who is soaking up every moment of being in a foster home. She absolutely loves attention and will happily curl up next to you for pets, cuddles, and affection. It's clear she's just been waiting her whole life for someone to love her. Susie is still a young pup who enjoys playing with other dogs and is now learning her manners in a home environment. Since she didn't get the chance to learn the basics earlier in life, she will need some continued work with house training, crate training, and basic commands. The good news is that she's a smart girl who wants to please, and with a little patience and consistency she will catch on quickly. Susie truly deserves her second chance at life outside of a shelter. With the right family to guide her and give her the love she's missed, she is going to blossom into an amazing companion.
