About Honey
Your new best friend is just one click away. Honey's story began in a cemetery in North Carolina, where she waited hopefully for the person who left her behind. Thankfully, she was rescued, and now she's in a foster home where she's thriving. Her foster mom immediately noticed her affectionate nature—she truly is as sweet as honey, and her unwavering loyalty is touching. At around 2.5 to 3 years old, Honey is perfectly past the puppy stage but still has a playful spark. She's travel-sized, making her an ideal companion for a variety of families. Honey enjoys playing with other dogs and can be a bit rough and persistent during play, so continued guidance on corrections is helpful. She's making progress on the leash and earns top marks for crate skills and house manners. Her foster family adores her and says she would be their "keeper" if they didn't already have so many pets. If you’re seeking a happy, loving companion who’s eager for a new chapter, Honey could be the perfect match for you. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
