About Lady

Meet Lady. Rescued after wandering abandoned in North Carolina, Lady was overlooked and left behind until she was taken in by a kind woman who found her emaciated and in need of care. Her recovery has been impressive—now at a healthy weight, she's received full veterinary care and was transferred north to Mount Holly, NJ for the chance at the home she deserves. Life in the south wasn’t kind to Lady, but she hasn’t let that dim her gentle, affectionate nature. Lady is about 2-2.5 years old, past her puppy phase and ready for the stability of a home. She walks easily on a leash, is crate trained, and is happiest close to people—she’ll stand up for hugs, curl up at your side, or climb onto a willing lap. At daycare, Lady shines: she’s lively, playful, and has no trouble making dog friends. She’s proven friendly with children and thrives in a social setting. Give Lady a chance, and you’ll find her loyalty and affection come forward quickly. Your new best friend is just one click away.
