About Buster
Eight puppies came into this world outside in a kennel, facing a brutal North Carolina winter and were soon abandoned. Volunteers and the rescue stepped in to save the family, bringing themāmom and allāto a foster skilled with newborns. Early on, tragedy struck, and some of the pups didnāt make it, but four puppies, including Buster, pulled through and are now thriving, healthy, and full of mischievous puppy joy. Their momās size suggests Buster will be a medium dog, probably under 55 lbs, with a short coat and classic hound-retriever looks. Buster stands out from the litter, carrying the name of a dog who once stole the rescueās heartāand, true to form, heās affectionate, sweet, and quick to bond. Heās getting a solid start, learning social skills as a littermate and playing with dogs of all ages and sizes at his foster home. Heās not yet house trained, but his smarts and eagerness make him a fast and willing learner. Buster gets along with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a natural fit for a lively family. Vaccinations are up to date, and when the time comes, his neuter surgery is already covered by the rescue. If you want a family puppy whoās loving, smart, and full of life, Buster could be your new best friend. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
