Meet Sugar- the sweetest choice! When two sisters were abandoned in an outdoor kennel in NC a snow storm and cold weather was on the way. Local volunteers networked for rescue and Diamond Dogs Rescue, Inc. stepped up. Sugar was taken to our vet and safe from the storm. She was named by the girls caring for her at the clinic and is everything her name promises. She is gentle, easy going, and dog friendly. She has a calm grateful spirit- as if she truly understands she was saved. She leans into affection. She watches you with soft kind eyes. She doesn't demand attention....she just quietly hopes for it. After being left behind once, Sugar deserves a family who will never let her feel that uncertainty again.
