About Champ

Champ is a 2-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier mix who came to the shelter after being found near an elementary school in Lowell, Ohio. He wasn’t wearing a collar or a microchip when he arrived. Champ’s coat is a smooth, short tan color, highlighted by a white patch on his chest. He has distinctive amber eyes, a liver-colored nose, and semi-erect ears. On arrival, he was slim at 44 lbs and needed to put on some weight, but regular meals have already helped him look healthier. Champ is eager for attention and his tail wags as soon as someone makes eye contact. He walks fairly well on a leash and naturally gravitates toward people, clearly craving companionship. He is scheduled to be neutered prior to adoption, but can go into a foster home while he waits for his appointment if you’re approved. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
