Hampton (RN Kingston) is a handsome 1-1/2 year old male Pit Bull Terrier mix who was brought to our shelter on January 30, 2026 and was later surrendered by his owner in hopes that we could find a good home for Kingston. This good-looking young man has a black short-haired coat with small patches of white on his throat/chest, a long tail, and a beautiful face with dark brown eyes, a black button nose, a chubby/square muzzle, and large floppy ears. These photos of Kingston were taken on February 21, 2026 when HSOV Volunteer Angel Grosklos accompanied him for outdoor glamour pictures. Kingston seemed to enjoy the new experience of having the paparazzi snapping his pictures and making him feel like a 'rock star'. Kingston was happy to be getting attention, extra TLC, and loved that Angel treated him to a nice walk afterwards for some out-of-floor-crate time. Kingston weighs approximately 50-55 lbs, and he walked fairly well for Angel on a leash. Kingston will be neutered before being adopted by his new family. He could be fostered or fostered-to-adopt while he awaits his neuter procedure with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application.
