About Valentino Needs A Forever

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Valentino is a striking Terrier mix whose estimated birthdate is February 2023. This handsome boy was found as a stray in Detroit during bitterly cold weather, but his luck turned when he and his friends were safely rescued. After arriving in care, Valentino was found to be heartworm positive and will begin treatment soon, with a requirement for ongoing monthly heartworm prevention for life. Despite his challenging start, Valentino is now flourishing in a loving foster home. He is gentle, calm, and adores being petted. Valentino appears to be good with other dogs, and while his experience with cats is not known, he is best suited for homes with children aged seven and older. A secure, fully-fenced yard is a must for his forever home, providing him with a place to run and play with his family. Valentino is vaccinated, microchipped, crate-trained, and will be neutered before adoption. He's longing for a devoted family ready to cherish and spoil him, as well as include him in future adventures. This sweet guy deserves a loving home that can offer him safety and endless affection. Please note that every dog in our care stays with us until a forever family is found, and we do not offer same-day adoptions. All applicants must complete a home visit, and all dogs over one year must attend a six-week obedience class outside the home. Local adoptions only—within one hour of Birmingham, MI—with no out-of-state placements. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
