Valentino's estimated birthdate: February 2023 Handsome Valentino, a Terrier mix, was found as a stray in Detroit, outside in freezing temperatures. We were able to trap him, Maizey and Rosie on Sunday, February 8th. Valentino unfortunately found to be heartworm positive and will start heartworm treatment in the very near future. He will require monthly heartworm preventative for the rest of his life. Valentino is thriving in his loving foster home. He is very gentle and calm. He loves to be petted. Appears to be good with other dogs. Unknown with cats. Children 7 years old or older. Valentino's forever home is required to have a totally enclosed, physically fenced yard where he can run, play, and hang out with his family. He is vaccinated, microchipped, microchipped and crate-trained. He will be neutered prior to being adopted. Valentino is dreaming of to be part of a loving family who will cherish and spoil him as well as take him on adventures for the rest of his life. All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same-day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6-week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI, to adopt one of our dogs. No out-of-state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Valentino's adoption fee is $300.
