JJ, a medium-sized Terrier mix born around 2021, came to the rescue when his previous owner could no longer keep him due to a housing change. He's playful, eager to learn, and has a giant puppy personality – always curious, always ready for fun. JJ knows his basic commands, rides smoothly in the car, and enjoys checking in on other dogs, especially puppies. He does well with kids (best with children 7 and up) and gets along with other dogs after slow introductions. His reaction to cats isn't known. JJ is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, house and crate trained, and currently on heartworm prevention. To adopt JJ, you must have a fully fenced yard—no exceptions—so he can play and explore safely. The rescue requires adopters to live within an hour of Birmingham, MI, complete a home visit, and, if JJ is going into a family with other pets, ensure everyone gets along.
