About Acorn Needs A Forever

Acorn Needs A Forever is a Terrier mix found running loose on a busy street, now safe and looking for stability. He’s a curious, outgoing, and playful guy who thrives on adventures and loves engaging with people. With a zest for toys and the outdoors, Acorn appreciates company and is very social, getting along well with other dogs. His new home must have a fully enclosed physical fence—no exceptions—because he needs a place to safely explore and burn off his energy. Interactions with cats are still unknown. For children, a home with kids 7 or older is best. Acorn is neutered, current on vaccines, crate-trained, and well on his way to mastering house training. All adopters must be within an hour’s drive of Birmingham, MI, and a home visit is required. For dogs over a year, attending a six-week basic obedience class is mandatory.
