About Ross Needs A Forever

Ross is a striking, large Terrier mix with a medium white and brown coat. He’s still settling in after a tough start—Ross was hit by a car and needed surgery for a broken leg as well as a dislocated hip. He has plates and screws in place now and is waiting for his next procedure. As he recovers, his sweet nature is starting to show through. At about two years old, Ross thrives with gentle people and is crate trained, house trained, and neutered, with vaccinations up to date and on heartworm prevention. He may do fine with other dogs after slow introductions and should join a home with kids aged 10 or older. His adopters must have a fully enclosed fenced yard so he can roam and relax safely. Cats are still an unknown. To adopt Ross, you’ll need to live within an hour of Birmingham, MI, and a home visit is required. Rescue policy means every family gets the right fit—no same-day adoptions, and dogs over a year will need to attend a six-week obedience class. Ross’s story is just at the beginning, but already he’s looking for a home where he can finally belong. Make his next chapter their best one yet.
