Nala Needs A Forever arrived at the rescue in November 2025 after being surrendered, but you would never know she’s had a rough patch. She’s a senior mixed Terrier with a lovely chocolate-brown coat and an easygoing, affectionate temperament. Nala gets along well with other dogs and adores every person she meets. Walks are a highlight for her, and she can’t resist butt scratches for long. Fetch and toys are major passions, and she’ll stay busy chewing bones if you offer them. While her experience with cats is unknown, her gentle nature suggests she’d do fine. Nala does best with kids seven and up, and her forever home needs a secure, fully fenced yard—no exceptions. She’s both house and crate trained, already spayed, up to date on shots, and receives monthly heartworm prevention. The rescue requires a home visit and that all resident dogs/cats meet her.
