Meet Ivy! Her birth date is December 5, 2024. Her mama Amy was found pregnant chained in a cold basement with 3 other dogs. The police raided the house and found the dogs and called MADR in to help. We took all 4 dogs and a week later mama Amy gave birth to 4 pups, only two survived. Ivy had Barbesia (a blood parasite) that she got from her mother. Ivy has completed treatment for this and is very ready to find her forever family!! Ivy is a sweet, and very social puppy who loves to go on adventures and explore the world around her. Ivy is super playful, loves toys, hanging out with people and other dogs and cats. Children 7 years old or older. Her forever home is REQUIRED to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard where she can run, play and hang out with her people. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and on heartworm preventative. Ivy is so excited to meet her forever family who will love her, spoil her and take her on great adventures!! All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all of our puppies under the age of one year to attend 2 obedience classes (each class is 6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Ivy’s adoption fee is $350.
