Hi there, Im Ned! Im a one-of-a-kind pup with a goofy charm and a super-secret toofy smile that I save for my favorite people. I may have a great grumpy face, but dont let that fool you I promise I do smile! When Im relaxed and comfortable, Im a truly happy dog, full of love and snuggles. Whether Im wiggling with excitement in the morning or curling up for a cozy nap (preferably on your lap!), Im always ready to show my affectionate side. My dark brown fur is extra handsome, especially with my cute white socks, and my velvety soft ears? Theyre just waiting for some good scratches! Im a curious explorer who likes to take my time getting to know new things and people. But once I decide youre part of my circle, Im all in! Im well-behaved and fully house-trained, and if I could spend all day by my foster moms side, Id be one happy pup. Walks are great, but Im also content to snooze while you work. When it comes to making new friends, Im a bit particular about people and other dogs because they make me nervous. I will for sure let you know when they are close to the house though. With the help of my foster mom and some anxiety medication from a Behaviorist Veterinarian, Im learning to stay calm and polite when I see new people or dogs. With patience and the right introduction, I warm up I just like to take my time! Once I do, youll have a loyal, snuggly companion who loves giving kisses. Im a smart cookie, too! I know sit, kennel, stay, wait, no, and even shake. Im working hard on my outdoor manners theres just something about squirrels that gets me so excited! Im really improving at heel and cant wait for my forever family to keep helping me be my best self. Its important that my new family continues with my desensitization training so I can keep growing in confidence. The good news? I give great signals when Im uncomfortable, and the wonderful people at Save-A-Bull will help my new family learn all about them so we can communicate really well. Ill let you in on a little secret I have allergies. Trees, flowers, dust, cat dander basically the whole environment! But dont worry, I dont let it slow me down. I still love being outside, sniffing all the smells, and enjoying nature. To keep me feeling my best, I see a great dermatologist who helps manage my allergies. At night, I settle into my kennel like a champ (though Id happily share your bed if youd like!). I also do well when left alone and can be found napping with my favorite blankie. To help set me up for success in my new home, there may be some important items that come with me like medications, a kennel, and training tools.
