About Pumpkin
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Pumpkin is a sweet, affectionate young large-breed pup whose journey began as a stray on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota. She arrived timid and scared, but has blossomed into a gentle and loving companion once she gets to know you. While she still feels a bit wary with strangers, Pumpkin warms up quickly and shows her playful, cuddly side to those in her trusted circle. You’ll find her lounging in laps, chewing happily on bones, and chasing after balls, delighting in the simple joys of puppyhood. She thrives in the company of other dogs, so a home with a canine companion is a must for her continued happiness and confidence. Pumpkin is also house trained on a schedule, crate trained, and very respectful of your home—she’s never had an accident indoors or chewed on anything off limits. Although she’s a quiet girl for the most part, she’ll let you know her needs at just the right times. At night, she sleeps soundly with the resident dogs, and she’s content spending parts of her day relaxing in her crate. Pumpkin still has youthful energy and would love a home with a fenced yard, but daily walks or runs will also keep her happy. She would do best in an adults-only home and will reward her new family with boundless love and loyalty. Born on 12/13/2024, Pumpkin is a Sagittarius—making her adventurous, optimistic, and full of life! Her foster family will miss her dearly, but they know she’s ready to fill her forever home with joy. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
