About Midnight Lagoon
Midnight Lagoon landed in a tough spot at a high-intake shelter in Texas before finding his way north. He’s a sweet and loving dog with a personality that fills a room—he craves attention and thrives on interaction. While vocal when excited, he settles into sunbeams and loves relaxing near trailers. Middy gets along well with calm, low-key dogs and does best with people after slow, proper introductions. He’s got some stranger danger and doesn’t care for direct eye contact from new folks, so patience is important. He gets along with some cats, but unfortunately, he’s allergic, so a cat-free home is a must. Middy is playful, energetic, and enjoys daily walks. He’s crate and leash trained, and is set up well for life in a home with a fenced yard. He pairs best with older children who understand his energy level and need for respectful play. His food allergies (including carrots, sweet potatoes, flaxseed, and barley) mean that his meals require a careful eye. This boy has made big progress since arriving in Minnesota and is more than ready for a family that will give him a chance to be the sweet companion he’s become. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
