Miles spent over 100 days in the shelter before landing in a loving foster home. Now, after some stability and structure, he’s ready for a forever family. Miles gets along well with the resident female dog at his foster home and hasn’t shown any aggression. While he hasn't lived with cats, he seems more curious and playful than anything when seeing them through the window. Miles is food-motivated, which makes training both fun and fast. He respects shoes, favors chew toys, and loves walks, outdoor sniffing, tough toys, food puzzles, and belly rubs. Crate time is peaceful—he keeps his area clean, sleeps soundly, and knows commands like sit, down, come, leave it, bed, and crate. He generally walks well on a gentle leader, though his excitement can mean some pulling when passing other dogs or people. Given his strength and energy, Miles needs an adopter with some experience who can keep up with his ongoing training and guide him through excited moments on walks.
