Matzo, also known as Reggie, is a large, spirited American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer mix living in Minneapolis, MN. He was adopted once but returned after his boxer playmates found his energy a bit much—he's a fun-loving, adolescent dog who missed out on early training and needs structure from a bully-savvy adopter who isn’t afraid to set boundaries. Matzo excels in doggy daycare playgroups and gets along with most other dogs, but thrives with those who appreciate his exuberance. He’s okay with dog-savvy cats as well. Smart and eager to please, Matzo already knows how to sit, lay down, and shake. He’s working on his crate training and learning to be comfortable home alone, so right now, he needs a household where people are around most of the time. When playing, Matzo is talkative in typical boxer fashion and definitely enjoys snuggling when things settle down. He’s leash trained, house trained, and up to date on his vaccines.
