About Honey
Honey is a three-year-old female chocolate Lab mix with a soft brown coat and a sturdy, joyful presence at around 60 pounds. Her story started with a bit of chaos at a fire department, followed by giving birth to four puppies in the busy shelter environmentāshe took on motherhood gracefully. With her nurturing side behind her, Honeyās ready for a calm, loving home. Sheās quick to learn, picking up house manners and basic commands with just a little patience. She loves snacks a bit too much, sometimes getting into the trash, but sheās gentle when taking treats and has a real soft spot for belly rubs and head scratchesājust donāt fuss too much with her back end. Honeyās a loyal shadow, happiest when she can keep an eye on her people and do her own little patrols around the house. She does well with older, dog-savvy kids who respect her space, but hasnāt lived with younger children yet. Leave her unattended and she might dig a little, so sheāll do best with a yard to play in. Sheās a fan of naps, outdoor adventures, and mealtime, and while she doesnāt mind a cozy cuddle, she likes plenty of space to sniff and explore. Health-wise, Honeyās in good shapeāear infection clearing up, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and walks nicely on her leash. Honey is in San Francisco, CA, ready for a new journey in a home where she can soak up attention, join in an adventure, and finally relax after a busy start. Ready to fall in love?
