Linky West is a small rat terrier mix with a big personality and a playful spirit. At about 9 years old, she's house trained, spayed, vaccinated, and healthy. Linky West is comfortable being left out alone—she doesn't get into trouble and doesn't need to be crated. She has gotten much more confident since arriving at her foster, where toys, cuddles, and treats are now part of her daily routine. She's chatty and will keep you posted on anything even slightly interesting, so she’s best suited for a home without shared walls. She currently lives peacefully with four dogs and once lived with cats, preferring gentle, low-key companions of any species. Children don't bother her either. Her favorite place, though, is wherever her human happens to be—on the couch or snuggled into bed at night. She asks for a calm touch and a gentle voice during vet visits or when you’re fitting her harness, as fast movements and restraint can make her nervous. A securely fenced yard is a must: she’ll still try for the occasional dart-and-dash, and she’s still learning on leash.
