About Nixie

Nixie is an easygoing, sweet soul who brings a calm presence wherever she goes. Around 8 years old and fully house-trained, she weighs in at 17 lbs and has excellent manners. Nixie loves all people—she's gentle, affectionate, and enjoys spending time with her humans. Though she isn’t one to start play sessions with the other dogs in her foster home, she’ll happily curl up near them and seems to enjoy their company. She avoids drama, preferring to keep the peace, and her well-behaved, quiet demeanor makes her a breeze to have around. Nixie has also gotten along just fine with cats she’s lived with in the past. While she’s house-trained, she might need some gentle encouragement to go out for potty breaks when the weather isn’t ideal, though she has no trouble when leashed. Recently, she had a dental cleaning and is in great shape for her age. If you want a house-ready companion with a lovely temperament who brings both sociability and tranquility, Nixie is worth a close look. Start your journey together! Apply now.
