Romeo is a 4-year-old male Siberian Husky mix who landed in rescue after a long stint in the shelter left him stressed and in need of a break. He weighs about 61 pounds and brings a blend of classic Husky playfulness and big-hearted affection. Romeo warms up quickly; once he trusts you, heāll lean right in for pets and happily soak up your attention. Heās talkative, knows his basic commands, and takes treats with a gentle mouth. Fetch and kid-sized pools are his jamāheās not afraid to act like a goofy pup. Heās spent nearly five months bouncing between shelters and fosters, so heās still decompressing. Romeo does well with other dogs overallāhe handled some pushy dog intros like a pro and showed plenty of curiosity and excitement. That said, after all heās been through, sometimes he needs space from other dogs as he adjusts. Out on walks, he can show some anxiety and will do best with calm, confident leash time and steady routines to help build his trust.
