He spent a long time in the shelter system, which was stressful and left him needing a break, but now that he’s decompressing in a foster home, he’s quickly showing his affectionate side. Romeo warms up fast to new people and isn’t shy about soaking up all your attention—he’ll lean in for every bit you’re willing to give. This playful goof loves to fetch and splash in a kiddie pool, and he’s known to have adorable, talkative moments. Romeo already knows his basic commands and takes treats gently from your hand. In his dog introductions, he was calm even around assertive pups, and was eager to romp and play. After months in a kennel environment, he’s currently taking a little time to get used to home life and decompress, especially with other dogs.
