About Atlas
Atlas came to the rescue after facing euthanasia at a rural shelter in Snowflake, Arizona, simply because of space. Now, heās making the most of his second chance in Scottsdale, fitting in well and showing just how gentle he can be. Atlas has a naturally calm, easygoing personality around people and other dogs, and heās especially happy when heās got a canine buddy for company. Whether heās lounging by the pool, tossing around a squeaky toy, or curling up in bed for the night, heās an easy dog to love. He still needs some basicsāAtlas isnāt crate trained, and heās just starting to learn commands. Until now, he probably didnāt get much one-on-one attention growing up, so patience from an adopter will go a long way. Heās house trained, enjoys fetch, and will never say no to a belly rub. Atlas is best suited for a home with at least one other dog, and while he hasnāt been tested with cats yet, he does get along with children, ideally kids age 7 and up who understand dog behavior. Heās looking for someone who can help him keep learning the ropes, and in return, heāll give his whole heart. Letās make sure this guy finally gets the home heās always deserved.
