Since joining his foster family in the Valley, Atlas has shown just how loving and easygoing he can be. With a calm and sweet temperament, he loves to relax by the pool, enjoy belly rubs, play fetch, and snuggle up at night. Squeaky toys are a favorite of his, and above all, he delights in being with his human and canine friends. He’s already made wonderful progress settling in, but his background means he wasn't given much attention or training in his previous life. Atlas is not yet crate trained and doesn’t know many commands, so patience and commitment to his ongoing training are important. He thrives with other dogs at home and feels most secure when he has a canine companion. Atlas would do best in a home with at least one other dog and children aged seven and up, although younger dog-savvy kids could also be a good fit. He has not yet been tested with cats.
