About Cosmo
Click apply to start the adoption process. Cosmo is a thoughtful, intelligent 3-year-old Siberian Husky who once found himself overlooked and withdrawn in the shelter environment. Rather than aggression, Cosmo simply needed patience and understanding, and has blossomed when given the space to warm up at his own pace—showing his unique "cat energy" that's both curious and playful. Now in foster, he's revealed himself to be affectionate, fun-loving, and happiest with a routine that includes fetch, walks, and plenty of time with his humans. Introduced slowly to other dogs, Cosmo has made it clear he prefers to be the leader and thrives most with calm, structured companionship—whether in the form of one easygoing canine friend or as the only dog. He's house and crate trained, knows an impressive roster of obedience cues, and absolutely adores cheese and tennis balls. Though meeting dogs outside the home is no problem, living with several at once can be a bit much for him, so fostering or adoption in a low-key environment will help him shine. He's likely best suited to an adult-only (or teen) household ready for the perfect balance of mental and physical activity and eager to make Cosmo the center of their universe. Fun fact: Cosmo is a Scorpio and true to his sign, he's smart, fiercely loyal, and determined once he trusts you! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
