About Cosmo
Cosmo is a sharp, thoughtful Siberian Husky with an independent streak and plenty of personality. At about three years old, he was once withdrawn in the shelter, more reserved than aggressiveāa quiet soul who just needed time and space. Now in foster care, Cosmoās curiosity and playful side come forward once trust is built. Volunteers say heās got ācat energyāācurious, playful, and happiest setting his own pace. Once he relaxes, his affection shines, especially if thereās a tennis ball within reach. With his people, Cosmo becomes a devoted companion. Playtime lights him up, and he loves long walks, fetch, and a round of belly rubs. Heās a high-energy dog who needs both physical activity and mental challenges. Cosmo learns quicklyāheās house and crate trained and knows several basics, though he still needs reminders not to jump up when excited. Cheese is his cheat code. Cosmo gets along with dogs outside the home but prefers not to share his space with many canine roommates. He could thrive as the only dog or with one calm companion, and heās best in a calm, structured adult home or with teens who respect his boundaries. Heās ready to step into the next chapter as someoneās loyal, quirky partnerājust give him time to warm up and plenty of tennis balls. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Cosmo
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Cosmo, as a Siberian Husky, does best in a home that can offer structure and stimulation, ideally with access to outdoor space and opportunities for exercise. They aren't suited for a sedentary lifestyle or being left alone for long periods.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Siberian Huskies like Cosmo need a good amount of outdoor space to burn off energy, whether that's a big backyard or frequent trips to parks and trails. Secure fencing is important given their athleticism and curiosity.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
While Siberian Huskies can be playful and gentle, Cosmo is recommended for an adult-only home or one with respectful teens. If there are younger children, supervision and boundaries would be necessary.
