Shazam is a 1-year-old Siberian Husky who brings a whirlwind of goofy enthusiasm and spirited vocalizations everywhere he goes. Life has given him few chances to learn good manners, so he’s still figuring out how to direct all that energy. Despite being labeled as "mouthy" or "too much" in the past, Shazam is simply a happy Husky eager for adventure and structure. His foster home has given him the stability he craved, and he’s adapted quickly—showing off his playful, friendly demeanor and knack for solving dog puzzles. Shazam’s favorite things include running, playing fetch, working out doggy puzzles, and wrestling with his husky foster brother. He’s social and especially enjoys the company of other big, energetic dogs. You’ll notice he’s mostly polite on leash but can still get excited seeing other dogs or large vehicles. Left to his own devices too long, curiosity sometimes gets the better of him; he’s not above nosing through trash or testing chew resistance on household items. Crate time helps reinforce his sense of security and manage his occasional separation anxiety. Shazam needs an active home ready for the joys and challenges of a young, clever Husky. He’d thrive with active adults, families with teens (13+), and canine siblings to keep him busy.
