About Shazam

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Shazam is a 1-year-old Siberian Husky who perfectly embodies everything people love about this breed: goofy, vocal, energetic, and always up for fun. Despite his big, happy personality, his lack of early training meant he was labeled as "too much" in the shelter, but all he really needs is guidance, structure, and plenty of opportunities to burn off energy. Thanks to a loving foster, Shazam has been thriving in a home environment, showing off his affectionate, playful, and social nature, especially with other large, active dogs. He walks nicely on leash, only pulling a bit when excited by other dogs or big vehicles. Always eager to play, whether it’s fetch or dog puzzles, Shazam needs an active home that can keep him mentally and physically engaged—boredom leads to exploring the trash or chewing things he shouldn’t. He does well in a crate, which helps him handle brief periods of alone time and manages his separation anxiety. An ideal home for Shazam would be active, able to continue his training, and have a secure yard since he loves to jump and greet passersby. He’d be great with an active individual, a family with teenagers (13+), and especially with another playful, energetic dog. Cats are unknown. Like all Huskies born in October, Shazam is a Libra—known for their sociable and entertaining vibe! All this fun personality is just waiting for a home ready for adventure, smiles, and loyalty. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
