About Corvinus
Corvinus is a young, medium-sized Siberian Husky mix who’s already overcome more than most dogs do in a lifetime. He landed in the shelter scared, partly because of the pain in his eyes, and had a hard start. Despite this, once outside, he showed his friendly nature and soaked up every bit of affection. After coming into rescue, he got the care he desperately needed, including surgery for entropion and eventually, removal of a damaged eye. Since then, Corvinus has recovered well and finally feels comfortable in his own skin. He is gentle, calm, and loves to snuggle with blankets or play with toys and socks. Corvinus warms up slowly but once he trusts you, he reveals a loving, loyal side and responds well to gentle guidance. He’s house trained, does well in his crate, and enjoys walking on a leash. Corvinus gets along with all sorts of dogs—mellow or playful—and would really like a dog friend in his new home. Meals, belly rubs, and treats light him up. He hasn’t lived with cats, but a meet-and-greet can be arranged, and he’s believed to be a good fit for families with children.
