About Tulip

Tulip has made quite the transformation after spending eight years as a barn cat. Rescued by Safe Haven Humane Society in Wells, ME, she faced severe health issues that nearly led to her euthanasia. Fortunately, the dedicated team provided her with extensive medical care, totaling over $7,000, allowing her to finally live the life she deserves. Now, Tulip is settling into our Scaredy Cat School, slowly getting used to human interaction. Though shy, she's already showing her playful side with toys like an ostrich feather and adores treats. Watching her learn to trust is heartwarming—she'll even accept a treat from your fingers while letting you gently rub her chin. This charming girl is quirky and full of character. With time and love, Tulip is sure to blossom into a wonderfully affectionate companion.
