About Mango

Meet Mango, a lively young male Domestic Short Hair cat, born in July 2024. Surrendered to Safe Haven in June 2025, he’s on a journey of socialization and discovery. Mango loves to play, especially with wand toys that have feathers, and he’s starting to explore more outside his comfort zone, enjoying the sun from his favorite spot by the window. He’s also forming friendships with other cats, including Sissy, Sara, and Petunia. Volunteers have been working with him, and he’s making solid progress. Mango allows gentle pets using a scratching stick and enjoys tasty treats from it too. He’s looking for a cat-savvy adopter who understands the unique needs of semi-feral cats and appreciates the rewarding process of socialization.
