About Pepper
Pepper is a 5-year-old, 95 lb. neutered Lab/Aussie Shepherd mix, known as an Aussiedor. He now needs a new home after his family faced challenges due to the arrival of a baby. While Pepper is a loving companion to the adults he trusts, he's not comfortable around young children and requires a child-free environment where his boundaries are respected. This smart and affectionate dog adores being spoiled. He's perfectly content to snuggle under a blanket when itβs chilly or, better yet, resting his head on your lap while he seeks your affection. His love for play is boundless; he thrives on fetch and is always eager for outdoor activities like hiking or swimming. Though he has displayed some sensitivity with other dogs and has been resource guarding in the past, Pepper gets along well with cats and shows no aggression towards them. Pepper would flourish in an active home where he can expend his energy and continue his training. He walks best with a head halter, is eager to learn, and has shown no signs of food guarding towards humans. A patient owner experienced with large breeds would be ideal for this charming boy. With the right guidance, Pepper is certain to blossom into a devoted companion. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
