About Bullet

Meet Bullet, a playful and goofy 1.5-year-old male black Labrador mix weighing 89 pounds. This big pup has made a big change in his life, moving from a lonely backyard to a nurturing foster environment where he’s learning and thriving. Bullet was once confined to a kennel with limited interaction. His previous family recognized that his high energy and friendly nature deserved more, so he’s ready to embrace family life full-time. He has quickly adapted to his foster home, potty training without any accidents. Bullet enjoys roaming freely in the main living areas while his foster is home and sleeps peacefully at night on a dog bed. This energetic boy loves his daily walks and hikes, often using a Gentle Leader to help navigate. Although he can be reactive to other dogs, he’s making progress with socialization, and he's had fun playing with a Golden Retriever and a cattle dog. Bullet knows some basic commands like Sit, Down, and Wait. He’s also protective and will alert when someone is nearby. Bullet is looking for a family of experienced dog lovers who can commit to regular outdoor adventures and daily routines. He thrives on companionship, so a household that includes bigger children is ideal, as he may unintentionally knock over smaller kids. His journey from the backyard to a loving home starts with you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
