About Koa

Meet Koa! Koa is a 3-year-old Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix bursting with personality and energy. This lively little guy loves to explore and investigate his surroundings, especially outdoors. He enjoys soaking up attention from his favorite people and is always ready for a new adventure. Koa gets along well with other dogs and children, making him a great addition to various family types. However, his experience with cats is unknown. While he may not show much interest in toys, he thrives on outdoor exploration. He's still working on his house training, so some patience will be needed. Due to his active and vocal nature, Koa would thrive best in a home without shared walls. If you’re searching for a curious and attentive companion ready to dive into life with you, Koa could be your ideal match! Koa is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Adoption fee is $450 (no checks). Last Hope, Inc. is an all-volunteer, foster-based, no-kill rescue located in Farmington, MN.
