About Honey
Meet Honey, a true sweetheart at heart. At 11 years young, this Shih Tzu has spent most of her life alongside one loving owner and a cat. Unfortunately, her owner has passed away, and now Honey is looking for a new home to call her own. Since moving in with her foster mom, Honey has adjusted to life with larger dogs and seems to enjoy the company. She's an easygoing little lady, but would also be perfectly content in a home without other dogs. Honey loves treats, especially soft ones and tiny milk bones, and due to her dental history, she needs wet food to keep her healthy and happy. Cloudy eyes and a bit of hearing loss haven't dimmed her spirit. Honey is wonderful in the house and is fully house trained too. She prefers a companion to stick around, as it makes her feel secure—especially when she gets startled. She's a comfy cuddler who sleeps peacefully with her foster mom. Though she may not have puppy energy, Honey is young at heart and ready to accompany you on calm walks or enjoy some yard work. If you're looking for a loving companion, consider opening your home to Honey. She's eager to share her sweetness with the right family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
