Currently located in Albert Lea, MN, he has a beautiful short coat in shades of red and chestnut. Though timid, he has been crate trained and keeps his area clean. He’s looking for a loving family willing to give him time and care as he adjusts to his new life.

Meet Jameson ALMN, a charming ShiWeenie who brings a blend of Shih Tzu and Dachshund traits to life. At just one year old and weighing around 14 pounds, he is pure puppy in a small package, sporting a short, lovely coat in vibrant red and chestnut. Jameson's past hasn't been easy, coming from an overbreeding situation where he and his siblings needed rescuing. Fortunately, Almost Home Foster & Rescue of MN stepped in to provide the love and care he deserves. While he may be a bit timid around new people, he’s learning to trust and build confidence. Older kids, particularly those 13 and up, are his jam, but he hasn’t been around very young children. Jameson thrives in a quiet environment where he feels safe, preferring cozy corners where he can stay out of sight. He seeks a family that offers patience, compassion, and can provide the structure he needs. Ideally, one parent would be home with him, creating a routine that includes lots of cuddles. He’s mastered crate training at night and keeps his area clean. Neutered and fully vetted, Jameson is ready for his forever home and would love a fur-sibling to help ease him into new experiences.
