She loves other dogs and has met cats too, so with the right introductions, she could happily share her home with them. Hazel is house trained and crate trained. She’s completed a board-and-train program, which means she comes equipped with excellent leash manners and a solid recall. This medium-energy girl is content either on adventures or snuggling up for a lazy day at home. She’s playful and adores her toys, but she’s also good at sharing. Though she might be a bit shy when first meeting new people, she warms up quickly. Older kids would likely suit her best. Hazel is also heartworm positive, currently on a slow kill protocol. It’s important to note that heartworm disease cannot be transmitted between dogs.
