About Timmy
Meet Timmy, a charming 1-year-old German Shepherd and Labrador mix who weighs 58 lbs. He was found as a stray and spent six weeks in a training program in Georgia, where he mastered social skills, basic obedience, crate training, and leash manners. With a calm and gentle nature, Timmy can initially be a bit nervous and prefers a slower introduction to new experiences. Once he feels secure, Timmy is more than happy to keep you company. Whether sitting beside you or following you around the house, he enjoys being near his people. Timmy expresses his playful side with soft whines when he wants to engage or go out for a walk. He’s quite affectionate, often letting you know he wants attention by gently placing his paw on you. Timmy is intelligent and eager to learn, responding well to positive reinforcement and treats. He knows commands like sit, shake, and down, and is actively learning new ones. He's house trained, generally avoids jumping on furniture, and is a great passenger in the car. Sleeping through the night is no problem for him, and he does well when left alone, often content to watch the world go by from a window. Timmy had heartworm but has completed treatment and is expected to test negative soon. If you can provide a loving home for this sweet boy, reach out today!
