Meet Sunny! This handsome 9-year-old, 70 lb neutered pittie mix is currently being fostered in Houston, TX, but he’s ready for transport to a loving family wherever they may be. True to his name, Sunny brings joy everywhere he goes. He’s a playful and goofy companion who loves showering his people with affection. Sunny knows his way around basic commands such as sit, down, stay, and place, thanks to the professional training he’s received. He’s fully house-trained and does well in his crate, settling in for 6-8 hours at night. His moderate energy means he enjoys daily walks and playtime, and while he walks well on a loose leash, he can be eager to greet other dogs, sometimes pulling or lunging in excitement. With calm redirection, he quickly learns to refocus. Sunny gets along well with other dogs, particularly medium and large ones, although he is sometimes unaware when they need a break from play. Matching him with the right canine companion is key, but he’d also thrive as the only pet, soaking up all the love and attention.
