About Addie
Addie is a 4.5-year-old spayed female pit bull terrier mix. Her journey began in a rough Houston neighborhood, but she’s now thriving in a foster home in Mooresville, NC, where she can be transported once an approved adopter is found. Having come from a background of struggle, Addie is learning to embrace life as a cherished pet. She’s crate trained and can comfortably stay in her kennel for 8-9 hours. Although she's still polishing her house training skills, she’s made great strides and has the occasional mishap while settling into new routines. While we haven't formally introduced her to cats or young children, Addie would likely do best in a home with older, respectful kids. Her gentle nature makes her a sweet companion, but she does need a little more time to adjust. Addie enjoys being around male dogs of similar or larger size and seems to prefer their company during playtime. It's important to note that she occasionally tries to sneak in on others' meals, so feeding her separately is advisable. What does this lovely girl dream of? Daily walks, a secure yard, a male canine friend to snuggle with, plenty of couches to lounge on, and most importantly, all the love she missed while living on the streets. Once she trusts you, Addie is ready to share her affectionate spirit. Don't wait—apply to bring Addie into your life and help her find a forever home!
